Characters

So, here's the deal; I'm going to be just a bit manipulative with your characters to start with. I've always hated "so you all just happen to be in this tavern, right, and there's this old guy..." So, in order to make some cohesion between characters, I'm going to tell you the first part of your character's backstory. OK? Here goes:

You were born and grew up in the town of Meeran's Dell. The town is just slightly too small to be called a city, but it's certainly a large town (multiple streets and everything). You all also grew up around the same time, and knew each other as children. Also, around that time in the town, there was a man who lived in the town, a newly-retired adventurer named Ezra Pell. On many an evening, Ezra spent his time sitting by the fire in the local tavern, with his trained raven, telling stories about his adventuring days, and it is at least in part because of his tales that you decided to pursue an adventuring life.

Your job from here is to tell me what your character did when they left Meeran's Dell to find their fortune/escape their past/whatever.
